Title:	PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
Description:	Small, fast-paced book design and production company is looking for bright, motivated and METICULOUS individual to handle all aspects of the book manufacturing process. Tasks Include: • checking preparation of cover and jacket mechanicals. • flight checking mechanicals and digital art • trafficking all materials to and from printers • scheduling • checking book blues • preparing purchase orders • estimating • coordinating the printing of bound galleys • proofreading
Requirements:	This individual MUST BE HIGHLY ORGANIZED and THRIVE in a hectic environment, and be able to communicate effectively with clients. Must have good math skills, and a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop and most importantly, common sense. Our ideal candidate must have at least THREE year prior experience in a publishing house. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right individual who loves books and is committed to bookmaking.
