Title:	BOOK DESIGNER
Description:	Busy book design and production studio looking for experienced interior book designer to join our team. This person will handle all aspects of interior book design and layout for a diverse list of titles across various genres.
Requirements:	Responsibilities include: • Editorial and author consultation when required • Submission of sample pages for client approval • Complete interior design and layout, and all follow-through to bound book • Collaboration with production editors and production managers to ensure our schedules are met • Supervise freelance designers Requirements: • Must have a thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign • A strong knowledge of typography and design is mandatory • Must be able to design and layout a wide range of creative complexities, including illustrated and four-color books • Knowledge of pre-press requirements for print: manufacturing process, proofing, and color correction. • Must be able to flight check and trouble shoot interior files for production Salary:$58,000-$63,000
