The Distribution Sales Coordinator is a hands-on participant in Abrams’ relationship with client publishers. As a daily contact and publisher advocate, the coordinator is involved in all aspects of their business within our sales and distribution relationship, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience across the entire publishing marketplace and sales cycle. What you’d be doing: Support the Director in the management of all aspects of distribution client list, including title management support, metadata updates, and sales materials Assist with seasonal deadline coordination and supporting launch and sales conference materials and meetings Work with publishers to coordinate and distribute Publicity Blasts to the Sales team Manage cover and interior ftp sites and retailer feeds for client titles Create Amazon A+ pages and update listings via Amazon Vendor Central Manage and place author event orders Assist with annual client business reviews Communicate with our client publishers about sales estimates and sales activity Track orders against estimates and first print quantities to prevent inventory shortages Submit print purchase order requests to inventory Organize sample and ARC mailings for sales reps. Timely communication as requested with clients regarding operational issues Manage the ebook file process and organization Streamline image feeds through FTP sites, Woodwing database , and Vendor Central Provide timely support and issue resolution We’re looking for someone who has: 1-2 years prior work experience is required. Preferably in a publishing sales, marketing, or operations role Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with a strong attention to detail and timely follow-up Candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as problem-solving capabilities Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently as well as collaboratively Experience in Adobe and Power Point Excellent Excel skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Comfort in learning new applications and proprietary in-house systems Thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Candidate must possess excellent time management skills Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to key stakeholders Hybrid: This position is in New York, NY and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence three days per week. The base salary range for this position is ($47,000 – $52,000) per year. The final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
